Tomato, Cucumber & Dulse Salad

This classic cold salad is a summertime favorite! By simply adding Dulse to your recipe you can create a simple yet nutrient dense salad instantly!

Have you ever tried Dulse? Dulse is an alga containing a rich mixture of minerals that resembles leafy red lettuce. Although fresh Dulse is hard to find in stores they do sell it dried. You can purchase Dulse as a powder, flaked variety, and whole leaf.

Dulse contains a long list of nutrient powerhouses your body needs including calcium, magnesium, fiber, iron, potassium, vitamin C, as well as omega-3 fatty acids which help to improve and support brain activity and nervous system function. 1 large Tomato

1 Cucumber

1/2 Onion, red or yellow

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Sea Salt

Black Pepper

Dulse Flakes

Cut up tomato, cucumber and onion to bite sized pieces and place in a bowl. Add in EVOO, salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with dulse flakes.
