This healthy spice is a powerhouse for health! A relative of ginger, Turmeric is highly anti-inflammatory and can be used in a variety of ways. The following is a tea recipe that will keep you warm this winter and aide your body in living well!
1 cup Coconut Milk
1 cup Water
1 tablespoon Ghee
1 tablespoon Honey
1 teaspoon Turmeric (grated root or powder form)
Dash of cinnamon or black pepper
Optional: Add additional herbs such as Reishi or Cordyceps for an additional boost.
Heat the coconut milk and water for 2 minutes. Add the ghee, honey and turmeric. Stir well. Pour into a big mug of happiness and sprinkle with cinnamon or black pepper on the top!
